DOMESTIC
heat pumps
Air source heat pumps are the low-carbon alternative to gas boilers. They work a bit like a fridge-freezer, but in reverse. The clever technology uses electricity to take warmth from the air outside – even when temperatures get as low as -15C!
Heat pumps are the greener way to supply your home heating and hot water, but with fewer CO2 emissions.
Thanks to a government grant of £7,500, they’re now more affordable than ever.
To be eligible for the grant, a valid, non-expired Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) with no recommendations for cavity wall or loft insulation is required. In March 2022, the government announced a removal of VAT on domestic energy-saving measures, including heat pumps. This will last for five years from 1st April 2022. In September 2023, the government increased the grant available to homeowners in England and Wales installing an air source heat pump to £7,500.
Are you tired of low water pressure & waiting for the hot water to come?
If so, you need an unvented hot water cylinder!
Unvented hot water cylinders are designed to store hot water under high pressure, providing you with a strong and reliable flow of hot water throughout your home. They are connected directly to the mains water supply, which means that they can deliver hot water at the same pressure as the cold water supply. This makes them ideal for homes with multiple bathrooms and high hot water demand.
